¿Are you in Riviera Maya or Playa del Carmen and want to spend the day in Cozumel?
If you don't want to use the slow and annoying ferry the best option is to cross by plane to Cozumel for comfort and safety.
You will enjoy a spectacular flight seeing the beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen and the incredible blues of the sea of Cozumel, prepare your camera because you will have many pictures to take!
We suggest you rent a jeep on your own and goa round the island, visiting the best beaches on the east side of the island like Playa Bonita and Chen Rio, you can enjoy the Cozumel lighthouse in the south point area and then visit the most famous ecological park of the island, Chancanab where there is a beautiful natural lagoon, beautiful reefs for snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, restaurant and stores.
You can leave Playa del Carmen at 9:00 a.m. and return from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen at 5:30 p.m. in a comfortable flight of only 8 minutes vs. the ferry which takes 40 minutes.
